Sachin Tendulkar helps fan collect signatures of World Cup-winning players

Little Master Sachin Tendulkar helped his property developing company’s ambassador Rohan Pate, collect signatures of 40 World cup-winning players from Australia.

Pate flew to Australia and collected the signatures of winning players from the teams of 1987, 2003 and 2007.

A dream impossible for most cricket crazy Indians, Tendulkar introduced Pate to his Mumbai Indians teammate Andrew Symonds while he was shooting for a reality show in India.
After that Symonds helped Pune resident Pate get connected with his teammates from 2003 and 2007.

This unbelievable expedition made Pate travel all over Australia. Even as far as Moree to meet Peter Taylor.

After almost boarding some 20 flights and beginning his wayfaring from 5 o’clock in the morning till 11 o’clock at night, he has collected almost all the signatures.

Pate is now left with the signature of Ian Harvey, Jason Gillespie, Tim May and about half of 1992’s squad to Pakistan but plans got delayed. He stayed back to get his bat signed by Steve Waugh at a breakfast before the start of the Test series.
